Get to Know Us
Welcome to the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at Purple Sage Elementary School. We are a diverse and dynamic community of committed parents, teachers, and staff, united with a shared goal: to enrich the learning environment and uplift the educational experiences for our students.
Our PTA plays an integral role in numerous school activities. We host family events, plan fundraisers, arrange volunteer opportunities, support teacher initiatives, and provide resources for school enhancement projects. Our dedication is fueled by a desire to cultivate an environment that stimulates student growth and fosters academic excellence.
We hold the belief that education reaches beyond the confines of the classroom. It is our endeavor to ensure that our students not only shine academically but also develop vital life skills. Our commitment is to foster an environment that nurtures creativity, encourages critical thinking, and instills a lifelong love for learning.
Our PTA welcomes all parents, guardians, teachers, and staff members at Purple Sage Elementary. Collectively, we can have a significant impact on our children's education and their futures. Echoing the old saying, "It takes a village to raise a child," we are honored to be a vital component of this remarkable village.
Every form of involvement, regardless of its size, can make a significant difference. Whether it's by volunteering your time, contributing your skills, attending meetings, or sharing innovative ideas, your active participation is precious and profoundly appreciated.
Join us in our mission to create a supportive, enriching, and rewarding educational journey for Purple Sage Elementary School students. Together, we can illuminate a brighter future for our children.
In the 2024-2025 school year, the funds raised will be used for Purple Sage’s campus enrichment, a new Stage Curtain, teacher grants, and those fun grade-level field trips that PTA sponsors each year for the kids. We look forward to seeing you at the school!
Our Mission
The mission of Parent-Teacher Associations is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. Brentwood shares in this mission by partnering with the Texas PTA and the National PTA.
What is PTA?
PTA is a grassroots organization made up of parents, teachers and others around the state who have an interest in children, families and schools. PTA membership is as diverse as Texas is in cultures, education levels and parenting skills. By joining PTA, a member becomes part of the largest child advocacy organization in the state with over 500,000 members across Texas.
