APEX Fundraiser

Fundraiser: October 28 - November 8, 2024

Apex is a 2-week interactive leadership and character-building program combined with a fitness-focused event fundraiser to help Purple Sage raise funds for campus enrichment, field trips, and teacher grants for supplies in the classrooms.

AT HOME

Fundraising is simple. The students will bring home information from school with their information on how to sign into the hassle-free website. Share your fundraising link with family, friends and neighbors via email, text and social media. They can make a flat donation or pledge a $ amount per lap that your child completes at their event (36 laps max).

Event day CELEBRATION

This is the big event day! The Apex team will set up, parents can come volunteer and watch/cheer as the kids check their laces and get ready to run! Apex knows how to party with an MC who will play music and pump up the kids to complete their laps while dancing and smiling the whole hour long!

AT SCHOOL

The Apex Pep Rally is a very high-energy event where we announce the lessons associated with the year’s newly developed theme, prizes, and how to get pledges. From then on the Apex team will be involved on campus daily with team days packed full of lessons, team building, and fitness.

Where does the money go?

Apex Fundraising percentages are based on the amounts pledged. Last year our fundraiser went towards the literacy library, teacher grants, fun grade-level field trips, and campus enrichment.

Apex’s portion is going towards a service they are providing to our school. Included in this service is:
• several weeks of pre-planning
• a fun Assembly for the whole school
• 2 weeks of daily leadership and fitness lessons provided by the Apex Staff (that our students and staff love!)
• daily leadership lessons
• race day T-shirts for all of our students
• website service for collections
• AND a day-long Apex Obstacle Course event

The funds raised benefit all of the Purple Sage students.

In previous years, we have done this type of fun run on our own and even tried other companies. This has required many many many volunteers (and staff that do not have the time or resources) to form a committee and weeks of planning. After all of their hard work. The fact that Apex can raise over double the amount of our other efforts, give back to the teachers/staff directly, and earn 60% back is amazing!!! When we have researched other fundraisers like cookie dough, wrapping paper etc... all of those companies cap the earnings at 50% back to the school of proceeds earned.
